Iraqi Coin And Currency Set
After the first Gulf War in 1991, Iraq issued new currency that remained in use until the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Now, you can own this historic 11-piece set that includes three emergency bank notes issued right after the first Gulf War, plus eight bank notes featuring Saddam's portrait. Based on the official exchange rate at the time they became available, these bank notes once had a face value of more than $2,500. Most were destroyed when new bank notes were printed without Saddam's portrait in 2003, and these are among the last of the classic Hussein Iraqi notes.
