On December 23, 1993, the former Yugoslavia printed a new bank note to keep up with rampant inflation. With a face value of 500,000,000,000 Dinars (that’s 500 BILLION Dinars!), it’s the bank note with the most zeroes in history. But when it was printed, it could buy only a gallon of milk or two dozen eggs. It was valid for just a few days until the government cut nine zeroes from the currency, and this is one of the rarely-seen survivors in original Uncirculated condition.
