In 1992, Canada celebrated the 125th anniversary of Confederation – the unification of provinces into a single nation. As part of the festivities, the Royal Canadian Mint issued a set of 12 circulating commemorative 25˘ coins to honor each of the 12 provinces.
Each coin features a unique one-time only design and was issued in a limited edition of only one month. This was the inspiration for the U.S. Mint’s 50 State Quarters series… but the Canada 125 collection is much rarer. It’s almost impossible to find a complete set like this today, so order now!
