This astounding collection of 14 genuine silver and bronze coins portray the evolution of Christianity over seventeen centuries. Each coin is protected in an archival capsule and the entire collection comes beautifully displayed in a deluxe custom made hardwood case. A rich, forest-green velour interior and brass accents showcase the coins, along with a plaque inscribed with a list of the 14 coins and a certificate of authenticity.
The evolution of Christianity began two thousand years ago and continues to this day. The coins in this collection were minted at critical points in history and represent important milestones and turning points in the rise of Christianity. The collection includes coins from Jesus’ roots in Judea; coins mentioned in Biblical references; coins minted by defenders of Christian belief as well as those minted by enemies; coins minted by the faithful leaders and visionaries; as well as coins minted by zealous Crusaders. The coins that make up this set were accumulated over a period of 25 years, purchased individually and in small groups from scores of dealers and collectors from all corners of the globe. As a result, only a small number of these collections could be made. The coins have all been inspected for quality and authenticity, expertly conserved and attributed to their respective civilizations and nations, then encapsulated in custom made archival materials and presented in a specially designed, handmade, hardwood and brass display case.
