Over 500 years ago, England’s King Edward IV commissioned a new gold coin which would soon become legendary: The British Gold Angel. Dramatically depicting the triumph of Good over Evil, British Angel coins soon earned the reputation as a good luck charm which bestowed wealth & good health on the coin’s bearer. In 1984, Britain’s Pobjoy Mint struck the first modern Gold Angel coins, which continue to this day. However, there has only been one British Silver Angel ever issued in this series: the elusive 1995 Silver Angel. This one ounce legal tender coin is struck from .9999 pure silver – even purer than a US Silver Eagle! We have secured a small hoard of these coins directly from the mint and are proud to offer these historic silver treasures to our customers.
