2007-W MS69 Burnished Silver Eagle
In 2006, the U.S. Mint introduced a new "Burnished" edition of the classic Silver Eagle Dollar. This 2007 "Burnished" Silver Eagle is the second Silver Eagle in the burnished series. Each coin was struck on a special planchet at the West Point Mint using coin dies that were sandblasted with a fine mixture of sand and glass beads. The result is a unique finish that is different from the regular and Proof Silver Eagles. This 2007-W Burnished Silver Eagle was graded and slabbed as MS69 by PCGS or NGC.
