2004 Poarch Creek Nation Peace Silver Dollar BU
Official Native American Silver Dollar
The last few years have seen the release of the world's first legal tender coins ever issued by Native American Indian tribes. Due to the tribal sovereignty guaranteed by numerous treaties from 1869 up to the present day, the Poarch Creek Nation has the legal right to issue its own coins. While the United States has issued many coins featuring Native American Indians, this is the first time that Native American Indian tribes have issued their very OWN coins. Each silver dollar is struck in a full ounce of .999 pure silver and each is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This 2004 Poarch Creek silver dollar bears the image of a tribal chief on horseback in a gesture of peace. Each coin comes in a deluxe silver embossed display case with certificate of authenticity.
